A Space
A space typically maps to a business or practice. A space has your billing information (name, practice number (if relevant), logo etc.).
A good rule of thumb is that if you want a different name, logo and banking details on your invoices, you likely want a new space.
A good example of when you might want to use a space is if you have a Biokinetics practice and a Pilates practice and you want to make sure to bill separately for each.
Some important characteristics of a Space
- A space can have multiple locations and members
- Your brand and business level assets (name, logo, billing details) are stored at the space level.
The difference between a space and a location
A common mistake when initially setting up your account is to create spaces when you actually would be better served by a location.
When to use a location
- If you want to add a physical address or online location where clients can meet with you
